Exhaust Fan & Motor Servicing

A greasy fan pulls less air, runs hotter and drips fat onto your roof. Left long enough it unbalances, vibrates and fails, usually on a Friday night.

We open the fan housing, degrease the impeller blades and casing, check belts, bearings and vibration, and look over the roof deck and seals around the penetration so grease isn’t tracking where it shouldn’t.

Frequently asked questions

Because the fan is where all that grease ends up. A greasy impeller pulls less air, runs hotter and drips fat onto your roof. Cleaning the duct without the fan just moves the problem upstairs.

Common signs are smoke or heat lingering in the kitchen, louder running or vibration, grease staining around the fan on the roof, and extraction that feels weaker than it used to.

We isolate and tag the fan, open the housing, degrease the impeller blades and casing, check belts, bearings and vibration, clean the grease catch tray and inspect the roof seals around the penetration. You get photos of the fan’s condition.

We report it with photos and leave the decision with you. Any repair or replacement is quoted separately, and electrical work is done by a licensed electrician. No surprise work on your bill.

Not at all. Let us know how the roof is reached in the quote tool. If a ladder setup or an EWP (boom lift) is needed, we organise it as part of the job.

Add the number of fans to your quote and we’ll include them in the same overnight visit as your canopy and duct. Get your instant estimate below, or call 1800 228 371 to talk to us now.
